Jos Chillin’ has concluded all necessary arrangements to hold the critically acclaimed Eargasm concert in Jos, Plateau State.
Describing the upcoming concert as an evening of classic tunes and pleasant surprises for the grown and sexy, JC said performances will be by music legend 2Baba, Kelly Hansome, Acetune, Malvina Patrick, Ruby Gyang, Bimbo and Styl Plus.
The concert takes place on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Mees Palace, Rayfield, Jos by 6 pm and it will be hosted by MC Amanna.
Eargasm is a trademark concert production of Buckwyld Media Network. The last edition which held in Abuja was done in conjunction with The 2face Foundation, UNHCR, Boomerang Africa and Yankee Entertainment. This upcoming Jos edition will be the fourth since its 2015 debut at the ThisDay Dome Abuja.
As a buildup to the concert, there will be a Jos Chillin’ Memorial Lecture and Skill Acquisition Seminar a day before on Thursday, September 7.
The lecture will be held in honour of those who lost their lives during the various crises that rocked the state over the years as well as sensitize the youth about the need for consolidation and continuous peace.
The Memorial Lecture seminar will feature distinguished speakers like international peace and Jos Chillin’ ambassadors: 2Baba and Ice Prince; Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki Nakande of Unity FM Jos; and Dr. Panam Percy Paul.
At the skill acquisition seminar, interested Plateau youths will get the chance of a lifetime to learn the basics from industry leaders.
Kate Henshaw will take them on acting; Mike Igbelabo, DNMT boss, dance and choreography; Edi Lawani, event design and production; Yinka Obebe, TV production; Andre Blaze, event and media hosting; Chris Mekwunye, tourism and hospitality; Efe Omorogbe, talent management and A&R; and DJ Jimmy Jatt, deejaying and music.
Entry to the Memorial Lecture and Skill Acquisition Seminar hosted by Osama Akpunonu is free and it will commence at 10am.
